As your therapist, I assist you in managing your distress with a current situation and offer guidance to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, and emotional distress. We review your family of origin history, work through developmental trauma, and look for ways to heal from breaches in early attachment bonds.

I support you as you cope with the loss of a relationship and I am a compassionate confidante as you process bereavement. I welcome you as you navigate life transitions, such as academic stress, career change, empty nest or retirement. I help you develop strategies to better adjust to changes.

I collaborate with you as you seek personal growth or are looking to enhance your overall life-satisfaction. I strive to help you realize a more authentic you. As an LGBTQ+ affirming, secular therapist, I welcome individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds.

My approach is to understand your experiences by encouraging emotional expression. I listen for how you are currently coping with your concern, bring forward your resilience, and promote your innate ability to create change. You and I might exclusively use talk therapy or we may explore your concerns through a variety of evidence-based experiential methods, including mindfulness, practicing self-compassion and shame-shifting, and through the use of expressive arts.
